IT would be scary because it is not expected but arms like that have minimum arming ranges to prevent detonation when still near the shooter. For instance, the AT-4 has a minimum arming range of 17 meters if I recall correctly. I have a good story of how a girl once tried to anticipate the recoil (in a recoilless weapon) and managed to put a round into the ground about 5 meters in front of the firing position. Yeah, assholes puckered a little that day. :biggthump
