I've had a total blast at every Midwestern Council event I've run this year. The diversity of cars and people is simply amazing. Always a little bit of everything. As far as track time per hour and dollar invested, its not that great, but it is real racing. Well, not the part I'm doing. I'm autocrossing. Timed laps, but no other cars around me and hopefully no traffic. I figured it behooves me to learn to drive with proficiency before I go wheel to wheel.
Speaking of proficiency, its a goal of mine to be able to do every job on the track and do it well. That path was started when I worked corner 3 all day on Sunday. This explains why there's no Sunday pics.
I improved my best time by nearly 2 seconds. Best lap: 1:28.237
