RX1 Oil change *pics*

I did a oil-change on my sled a few weeks ago. God, what a project. First you have to take off 6 hex screws on the bottom of the sled and remove a pan, then remove the oil bolt and drain the oil. Then you have to take the side panel off (more screws) and drain the oil from the oil tank. Then you have to remove like half the shit in the motor to get at the oil filter way down inside.

been there done that. It's a horrid design. I think either bender or Hauck make a oil filter relocation kit. That way when you take the filter out oil doesnt poor into the belly pan.


I had a skid plate on mine which added more bolts to remove to access that panel under there.
