I'm amazed at how aerodynamically sound that freezer door was. It was flying straight, level and at a good clip.

this is actually pretty cool from a science perspective.
its not aerodynamically sound, it is riding the expansion wave of the explosion. There is a wall of air that is right behind it, moving the other air out of the way as a roughly uniform wall. Otherwise something like that would spall (tumble about).
Really neat to see that on a macro scale.

Watch the video in .25 speed and you can see the door is actually bent in a concave fashion from the explosion itself. I think the air wave of the explosion happens at like 5 sec (you can see the camera shake) where the door hits the tree where the guy is standing seconds later.
