You can either write off either personal car mileage or expenses. 9/10 times car mileage write off will be better. I have about 20,000 worth of miles to write off at $53.5 a mile. Comes out to around $10,700.

Options for Reporting Vehicle Expenses
When you use a personal car as an Uber driver you may be able
to deduct related expenses using one of two methods: the
standard mileage rate method or the actual expense method.

The actual expense method is usually the best way (in my case anyways). I always write off my mileage, gas, maintenance, tolls, ect. But that's not for Uber. I do it because I work in construction and drive jobsite to jobsite.

Now I just have to get everything ready for my taxes and organize it well. Anybody know a good app to use to keep track of mileage logs, and all the other stuff?
