I had this combo years ago before I sold it for a larger version. But just wanted to post these links to show the price change this year for just the bottom section of the 48" lower toolbox from HF

Sounds about typical for black friday crap (brands use cheaper/crappier parts especially in electronics specifically for black friday "deals"). Jack up the price silently, then "reduce it" for the facade of a good deal.

This like the October $100 off Discount Tire Direct sale. The online price jumped up for October and then back down in November, by $32. Then there was a $68 additional install fee if you took them to your local Discount Tire. In the end, they were the exact same price.

yeah. i noticed that too.
and those cock suckers wont price match other competitors AND give you the 100 off deal. but during normal pricing they will price match anyone under the sun.

At least for the tires I bought for the Suburban they were no more expensive after the $100 off dropped (and no competitors had them cheaper), and I had them installed somewhere else to avoid the additional install fee.

TL;DR they were giving people money back. Check your HF emails. I didn't pursue it because I would've maybe received $100? back.

I think you had to provide receipts and proof to get much back. Otherwise I think they gave like a $10-15 credit
