He still in business? Thinking about grabbing a buddies Impala SS 5.3 with a bad trans (surprise surprise)for cheap.

Approx how much to build up the trans for stock power with reliability?

Also I know they are notorious for burning oil, what solves that problem? If I do get the car I will more than likely pull the motor and do whatever is recommended.

I'm sure PRJ could do a trans if he wanted, he's pretty damn good, but Dave is the best when it comes to transmissions.

Prj did go out of business. He never did that many transmissions, but he did build a good one when he did.

Tep can take care of you though. About the only thing you really need on the ls4's is a trans cooler
