Car trailer rental needed

Can anyone recommend a place to rent a full size open car trailer for a day near Schaumburg/Hoffman/Streamwood area? Tried Budget and Penske and they only rent if you rent a truck from them. Tried Uhaul and they are supposed to get back to me. Need it this Saturday.

Rentalmax if you have one near you; I got an Aluminum one from them in Joliet that was awesome, and they weren't asking me a bunch of questions like uhaul does. (I towed a 3700lb Lemans with a Ranger if that gives any idea.)

Route 12 Rental. I use RA Adams but they're in McHenry and you probably don't want to go that far.

U-Haul works but the trailers are kinda annoying.

Trying to avoid going that far out of my way as the car I'm picking up is down near Michigan City Indiana.
I called route 12 in Streamwood yesterday and they said they didnt rent them.

I would just find a u-haul closest to the car and rent it one way for the $89. In town returning back to the same place is $54.

Yeah, u-haul my be your best bet. I hate that you have to load the car so far forward, but, it'll get the job done.

Should be okay, but will bring something just in case

my gtp is such a pain in the dick to get on/off a trailer it's insane.

That was my 1st phone call, they said they dont have them.

Called them after Mr_Roboto mentioned them.
$116 plus tax, kind of steep imo but might wind up using them if Uhaul doesnt get back to me. Uhaul is only like $60

I did the Uhaul thing in a pinch when the old van broke down.

$54 was about what it was if I recall. About the only thing they were a little picky on was what I was towing and what I was towing with. I was borderline (As the van weighs 4,300 pounds) and I was pulling it with a half ton Suburban. But they relented when I said I would bring the trailer back to their location.

Otherwise, I had zero problems with their trailer. Yea, it wasn't my 18ft MacLander I used to have back in the day, but it worked for what I needed.

I just rented a Uhaul car trailer. It was $60. Stupid easy to use and cheap.
