I know of a guy out here that owns a 911 and a 6 series BMW, both new models, and they more than pay for themselves with Turo. He just drives the car that isn't rented or Ubers if they both are.

So it's a matter perspective. Maybe you wouldn't buy a rental car for yourself but if someone told you you could drive a new 911 for free 20 days out of the month and maybe be cash flow positive on it to boot, would you do it then? I would.

It's the difference between not having a 911 at all or having one that I have to share with people 33% of the time but that I pay nothing for. I'll take a free rental car over no car at all.

I should just buy a prius to do this with. Then when I want to take long trips I got a good gas mileage car also.

you could luck out and always had nice rental drivers, earlier this year I was given a new low end new jeep in Reno (200 miles on the ticker), and the airport dumps you right on the freeway where traffic is going 80, so yes the pedal was to the floor

I was going to rent a 911 turbo in vegas and run it at the track but we ran out of time. you can do what you want with the car. just dont tell them. they did say any excessive tire wear like on vipers and stuff you pay for the tires.

I didn't want to get into details with him but looked like R and it was the first fucking lap, i even caught myself on a couple turns like oh ya the tires aren't warmed back up yet
