In the past 3 months or so, their community has taken huge hits. Including some of the biggest and most respected names. I think it really goes to show you that no matter how much knowledge and experience you have, life is still a game of chance especially when you're pushing the limits in something so potentially dangerous. Some of these guys are complete daredevils, but many of them come from respected backgrounds too and I've always been in awe of their mental strength and ability to perform under pressure. Just wanted to make a thread showing some of the awesome people that this world has lost recently.
Dario Zanon - 6/8/16
As seen in the black/yellow suit. Known as one of the best camera flyers. He was very technical and had quite a few flights under his belt. He passed while flying in the glacier area of Augille du Midi.

Chris Labounty - 6/23/16
Accomplished climber. Doctorate in EE. Competed on American Ninja Warrior. One of the few American wingsuit proximity flyers who would actively hike and search out new jumps across the western U.S. He passed away in the Italian Dolomites during a "routine" flight.

Uli Emanuele - 8/17/16
A very experienced Italian flyer who had recently been pushing the limits with stunts like you can see below. Despite that, he was simply attempting a routine jump while following/filming another flyer when he died.

Alexander Polli - 8/22/16
A true legend of the sport. Probably had more flights under his belt than almost anyone. He was a super competent wingsuit flyer and tracker who had been spending the last few years teaching up-and-comers. He had progressed to the point of performing corkscrew/barrel-roll maneuvers while proximity flying and unfortunately it was one of these maneuvers that caused him to crash.
