Air bags are only safer if you land on them.. Trevor Piranha hit a 4th gear jump 5th gear pinned.. He already broke his bike doing moto's with Ronnie Mac #69 so I let him use mine.. He took one for the team on this jump and sacrificed himself to set my bike down on the bag! Luckily he caught enough of it to walk away from this.
