Yes, our trainers use them. And I have used one also. Great quality.

Is this something anyone can use to train a dog or if used wrong can it make the dog worse? I'm have been looking at getting one but have been a little apprehensive.

read up on it. its not as bad as you think.

my bitch gets overly excited, and i cant afford her knocking someone down or jumping on someones car. so when she doesnt respond to verbal command like she should, she gets a zap WITH verbal command. but my dog is a special kind of stupid, shes 4 years old, 70lbs, and a complete playful baby with ANYONE that comes by.

Don't know where you live, but our trainer is in Vernon Hills and will do just a day class with you, or a program. Very good and nice people.

thats odd. Molly tends to be fairly well behaved on a leash unless she sees a squirrel. lol
