Ok, so I've downloaded a boot cd-rom disk image for DOS.
I burn it to cd and it boots fine. its chock full of fix-your-broken-pc utilities. whoop de fuckin doo. i need to upgrade a bios, not save someone's /b/ folder.
How, on a Vista or XP machine, do I edit an .img file, add the BIOS updater dealiebobber application to the image, and save it without ruining the boot sector info?
Adding the bootable image and the BIOS updater files to a Roxio project doesn't get me what I need. That simply gets me a two partition disc and DOS can't read NTFS.
So, how do I add the BIOS updating software to my bootable cd image?
and im not going to pay a lot for this muffler
