I am already very displeased....

I started this book series when I was a kid, I was always a big fan of Stephen King's books. This is my all time favorite book series, I've read all the books at least 3 times.

Watching this trailer makes a piece of my soul die knowing they are going to butcher it. :picard:

Oh. I thought you were going off actual feelings, not rotten tomatoes. There are some classics on that list. Maximum overdrive, lawnmower man, children of the corn movies....seriously you would say the shining and shawshank are misses?!?

Oh god no, Shawkshank and the Shining and 20 others are definitely NOT misses. My whole point was, there are a lot of movies, based off of Stephen King books/stories that are horseshit and were reviewed as such. Maximum Overdrive is fucking awesome too...Just going down the list, even a gut feeling, there is a majority of crap

I haven't read the book series. I just watched this, and I thought it was good, but not great or anything. I thought Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey were very good in their roles.

I suppose they left the ending open for possible adventures between the kid and the gunslinger, but it did seem kind of final. Considering this is based on a book series or like 8 books, the fact that I feel this got wrapped up in a single movie with the man in black dying is kind of disappointing. I can only imagine how disappointed those who have read the books will feel.
