I've been having trouble getting my computer to put some programs into my programmer. I downloaded and installed the driver from the SCT website, but the computer still does not recognize the programmer at all. I've removed the driver and reinstalled it and that didnt work either. Has anyone had this happen before, and how did you end up fixing it?

Do you get the "new hardware found" wizard when you plug it in?

Yeah, it shows up.

When it asks for the software location....... did you use the software that is in the SCT folder with the livelink software?

I did do that, and that is where the trouble starts. When I click on the folder nothing happens at all. It is almost like the file is messed up or something because the computer still wont recognize the tuner after I open it up. That is why I deleted the driver and re-downloaded it, but the problem still occurs.

Hmmmm.... Did you try uninstalling ALL the SCT stuff and startiong COMPLETELY over?
