at first i was like meh, then i was hmm, further in i was like damn, now im like HOLY SHIT THATS FUCKING BADASS. what motor is it? i REALLY dig the motor trans setup THEN he throws a turbo on top!? that got me super stoked. i hope he keeps the body unpainted like that. LOVE the contrast between the INSANE engineering and chassis and then a rusty shitty mini truck. is that a nissan truck? IN for done video. such an awesome job

at first i was like what a waste of time for something thats going to do nothing cool but lay frame. but the further i watched it, the more my respect grew for it. THATS when you know you have an awesome build.

I'm a huge fan of the 1UZ. It's a great little V8, despite the displacement and aftermarket handicaps. I was en route to dumping one in my MKIII back in the day.

Six bolt mains, say whaaa? lol.

The 1UZ is a beast of an engine. They used it for road racing besides production cars.

I have a friend who put one in a 4x4 manual Tacoma. It's double the hp of the 4 cyl it replaced and like 100lbs lighter

Yep, I've seen them in 240SX, Tacos, Supras, Corollas, Cressidas, Bimmers, Celicas, and even odder chassis. With their powerband and refined nature, I'd fucking love one in something small and nimble like a Celica or 240. Mmmmmm...

They are rather 'wide' engines IIRC, which is a bit of a problem for swaps (which is why SBC and SBFs are so popular).
