Buying a truck

I'm looking to ditch the VW and get a newer model truck. Preferably a silverado or f150. 2010 or newer. But I'm looking for a place where I can buy the truck already lifted. Anyone know where to look? I've done multiple searches online with only 1 or 2 results. Must be a gas engine also I don't want a diesel.

look on cars and autotrader for what you're looking for... some dealers have packages installed on trucks that are new on the lot, but they up-charge your ass off because of the speciaty modifications.

I think you are going to have to expand your search radius. There aren't too many lifted pickups for sale in the Chicagoland area.

check Craigslist under the dealers section i no Ive seen them on there from time to time.

You'd have to look a bit further south. I know back in the day, there were a few places in bradley/bourbaonais that did mods. My sister's dealership builds up jeeps.

search the texas and oilfield states dealers for what your looking for. granted alot of them will be diesel but youll find some gassers, many modified with lifts, bumpers, etc

i remember some trucks on dealer lots with 12" lifts on 38's with ranchhand bumpers/etc

on the pluss side they wont be starting to rust till ya get it up here

That's a fine idea. I'm gonna look and see what Texas has to offer.
