I got bored halfway through and just had it on as background noise for the rest of it. Not gonna waste time on part 2 when it comes out next year.
It wasn’t horrible. But it certainly wasn’t good. Lack luster story. No reason to care about the characters. Lack of world building.

Some scenes seemed similar to Riddick, Matrix and a few others.

Yeah, watched it last night.
Is it a bad movie?: yes. It is a good movie?: Also yes. It is DEFINITELY a Snyder movie through and through. It has some amazing visuals so if you like his style then go have a nut. But apart from that, there wasn't THAT much substance. There are some good and interesting characters in this, unfortunately they just don't focus on them. Maybe we'll get more in part 2. It's really hard to judge this since we're only getting half of it right now. I'll watch part 2 when it comes out and then we can see what this looks like as a complete movie

This was ok. Snyder does need to tone down the slow mo shots a bit though. They definitely lost there luster after about 50 of them in this movie

Looks like you won't have to wait 10 years. Someone explain this to me like I'm 5...can this dude just not make a good movie the first time around? I saw a comment calling him the mulligan director and it seems pretty apt.

- Unlike many director's cuts, Snyder's cut is not just an extended version but a new universe within the movie.
- The director's cut will be a fully realized, R-rated version of the movie that reflects Snyder's original vision.
Maybe netflix just saw it as an opportunity to cash in on the concept behind JL's directors cut...and make more streaming fodder for not much incremental cost?

Agree with you guys, the slow mo is way way way overdone in this movie, just like it was in 300. 55 mins in and I’m about to turn it off
