You and 3 other TCG members are on a small plane that is flying from Anchorage, AK to Juneau, AK. You have been camping and hiking for 2 weeks up around Anchorage. The flight, on average, takes 1hr35 minutes. You are flying in late November and halfway into your flight, the pilot lets you know you will be going a bit north to avoid a massive storm system moving in from the Gulf of Alaska. This pushes you close to the Kluane National Park and Reserve of Canada.
Approx 20 minutes after a course direction is made, the pilot suffers a massive heart attack and dies sending the plane into a dive. You are not flying very high to begin with so one of you makes the heroic decision to get into the pilots seat and attempt to land the plane. Its a valiant effort and while you manage to keep the plane from crashing nose first into the ground, you slam into trees, breaking apart pieces of the plane and scattering them over a 2 mile radius (Vogz, you cannot correct my theories on any of this ). You and your 3 companions awake 4 hours later in the middle of the Kluane Reserve.
The Scenario:
You must choose what 3 other TCG members are with you. They have to be active members.
The 4 of you are out in the wilderness. Aside from cuts and bruises, no one is seriously injured. By luck, you are able to recover one tent (structurally sound) and one backpack containing the following: basic light medic kit, 3 sets of quality camping clothes, a GPS which has nearly dead batteries, and a cell phone. You also find a 30-06 that was taken on the trip, but the scope was damaged in the crash. You also find one box of ammo with 20 rounds. One axe is also found for use between the 4 of you. Obviously you are wearing whatever you crashed in so I'll be nice and say you are all are wearing boots. You can also use parts of the wreckage as you see fit.
Your next choice is where you should travel to. Refer to the map below for the two major cities. You must choose which of the two cities you will attempt to make it to.
There is no money involved, only survival. Who do you take? Where do you go? How do you survive?
Note: The location of the X does not mean you crashed in the mountains. Its just for reference.
Editors Note: I am open to altering the scenario slightly based on GOOD feedback.
