I don't see a specific kit for the truck other than roush

If he is going to tow with it, I would go with a PD blower. Roush is a good one for sure.

probably.

i was leaning him towards centrifugal because air to air intercoolers are neat (no worrying about pumps or fluid), and probably not as susceptible to heat soak.

I'd go centri for those reasons exactly. And the black finish looks OEM on the ProCharger. It's a slick setup for sure

A2A's look the business, but so do roots. I'm conflicted.

what kind?

and why do you say that?
Roush has a pretty popular positive displacement supercharger. Only reason I say PD is because of the instant torque down low in the rpm range which would be useful for towing. If he wanted a fun "race" truck and is going to rev it out, then I would go to Paxton. More torque down low would seem to fit a truck that is going to be used like a truck IMO.

I would just tell him to get what he is going to use it for. Both blowers have very different dyno graphs.

i feel like the 5.0 makes enough torque down low to not really have an issue "being a truck"

either way, he wound up keeping his 6.7 ccsb too soooo he still has a truck to do truck things
