Yesterday was the local farm auction. Iām usually good for pulling one or two decent rigs out of these salesā¦
This time? Five, and a stupid boat.
First one of the day was this 1994 Silverado K1500. 143,000 original one owner miles. Truck is gorgeous. Got a matching camper shell for $50 as well!
Second was this 2002 Dodge Ram 2500. 24v Cummins backed by a 5-speed. 151,000 miles. Spotless snowbird truck.
Then came the oddball of the dayā¦
1989 Sierra 3500 squarebody with a got damn carbād LS in it. I had zero idea this was powering it, I just wanted a squarebody dump.
Then this 1993 dump. Nothing special.
And the new work rig. Rust-free 2002 F-350 4x4. 7.3 PSD. 300,000 miles just how I like them. 3200# crane and compressor. I need a single place to put tools, Iāve been working out of a pickup for two years now and itās annoying when stuff isnāt easily reachable.
I also ended up with this ugly duckling ā04 Silverado. LB7 Duramax. Fully loaded truck, just looks like hell. Solid winter beater. It was $2,500. Exhaust rotted off at the down pipe so I bought a 5ā turbo-back and found a DiabloSport tuner under the back seat, so weāre just going to set it on kill and party a bit. Real disturbing the peace machine. Actually worked out great. I needed a crew cab winter rig so I could park the Cummins. I have ZERO shame in what I drive as long as itās reliable so this will be perfect for the Labrador and myself to tear up this winter.
And the boat. 90ās Regal 17ā? Idk. Itās got a new motor with receipts and was two grand with titles for the boat and trailer.
