Love this series but this premier cold opening with John Dutton having commit suicide was pretty wack. I get that he’s no longer on the show but just seemed like a lazy way to open the episode off like a writer wrote this on the back of a napkin, took a picture, and texted it in along with a dick pic

So I thought this was on Peacock? Let me rephrase that, it IS on Peacock, but not the latest episodes? We went to look for it last night and they only have "part 1" of season 5 on there. Peacock is one of those horse shit streaming services that you PAY for, and they still inundate you with commercials anyway, and they STILL cant have new episodes of their (or rather Paramount's) top shows!

It is fucking ridiculous to me that I cant watch a show on a companies own streaming network that I have to pay for, AND you still have commercials. So you are making more money on me by me streaming it than you would otherwise. This is even worse when its a show that is on a regular OTA network. I think it was Blacklist which was on whatever network owned the majority of Hulu at the time, and you couldn't stream it. So annoying.

Kinda let down on episode 2. an hour to find out something we already knew.
Was it my stream or was the beginning very weird. Cassie, his wife and kid were working on the house and then they found out like 15 minutes into it, when Cassie knew last week. Beth going to see her husband like nothing happened either. My Wife and I were like WTF

There were 3 time lines in 20 minutes.

Yup. Same with Rip being in Texas and coming home. Then it was weeks later in Texas but after that scene Beth visits Jamie the day after her father's death.

As I said, I think rewriting and reshoots have this first few episodes all out of sync. Might see more of the same as the season goes on.

Where can I stream this from beginning to end? I read not all the episodes are on Paramount plus and some of the episodes are only going to be on Peacock. I want to watch it but I don’t need more damn streaming services.

Finally watched ep 2 last night. OOF. Agree w/ everyone else. This season is going to be rough. But, I've stuck w/ it all these years now, I will finish it.

Note for the editor, just in case you browse this site. Just throw a god damn subtitle in there every now and again between scene changes!! "3 weeks ago" How hard is that??

I still enjoy all the straight up ranching stuff, its why I fell in love w/ this show in the first place. Camping on top of a rattlesnake den? That shit is exciting, and watching them all work through it and interact w/ each other the way they do is great.

the Dutton shit? BLEH.
