i boated this year.

but now it's out of the water... for now.

i went to crank the boat up more yesterday because water level came up.

i heard a few POPS from the cable and saw this happening...

which equaled this

i had one break on my dad's and i was standing on the guide as it broke, and i fell in with it. that scared the FUCK out of me.

good to know Jon's good at it... i owe him money still anyways....

2nd, my truck can't make that first turn, likely couldn't make that backing up one either.

boat's hiding now.

put on about 40 hours? had to move my lift twice...

broke a lift cable (still needs fixing)

broke my tongue jack- but luckily new fulton one bolts right on no issues.

got a sweet new set of poverty offset box end wrenches to replace it from the harbor freight.

went and checked my boat out this weekend.

weather was shit so we didn't plan to boat and took wife's crv.

got batteries off the tenders and installed so i can raise/lower engine hatch & outdrive. boat fired right away too so that's good.

had a flat tire, and wanted to get it taken care of before we "need" to tow it.

got one of these from the local tractor supply and holy fuck if it's not the most perfect thing to jack up any trailer with i dont know what is.

put the spare on, yanked a 3" ish long nail out of the tire, patched it and we'll see if it's held air in a few weeks.


also a chance... slight chance... that I won't bring this boat back up here this year...

Knowing the clientele at TSC, I'm sure they did that on purpose. Looks perfect for a trailer jack though.
