I've decided to quiet down the TA and clean up some of the exhaust racket. Current setup is Kooks 1 3/4 headers with Kooks ORY into Magnaflow catback. I'm looking for input from owners and possibly sponsors to see what's the better choice and if I'm missing any options.
Option 1: Have Magnaflow bullet cats welded into existing Y, and flowmaster merge to replace Kooks merge. Parts are $250 plus fabricating costs.
Option 2: Texas speed (TSP) catted Y pipe ($350+shipping) Unknown fitment on Kooks Y and it's aluminized steel. Has bullet style cats and much better merge than the Kooks crappy merge.
Option 3: ????? Any other options to quiet down the car? I like the idea of cats to get ride of the exhaust smell. It was nice for a few years but I want to be able to take the car somewhere nice and not smell like unburnt fuel.
