3800 WTF!!!!! TOp SpeEd??????

Last nite I decided I would top the prix out. I've had it about a month now and haven't gone over 80.

Well I was waiting for this thing to cut off at 115 and it kept going on the heads up Display up to 125 and still going until i let off. (i was a little scared)

Is this normal for a 97?

The only thing i have is a 9 inch open cone......

no pcm or pulley.

Does this seem right?

IIRC 127 or 128 is what the stock PCM is governed to.

GT is 108

wow i thought it was governed at 115.

Yup, all GTP's cut out @ 127. With a pcm they set it to 299 hence no limiter.

yeah i was very suprised. Someone told me it cut out at 115 so it was a shocker. I thought maybe i had a factory freak. hehe oh well....intense pcm is coming soon anyways!!

115=3rd gear limiter
126-127-128=4th gear limiter



4th gear can differ per how wore your tires are, or depends if you are aftermarket

the factory limiter is 126, with stock RSAs..225/60/16
