WTB: Stock 97-03 catback

Looking for a complete system I can bolt on. Last time I was at the junkyard I didn't check on exhaust systems, but do they normally hack those off?

I plan on keeping the GMPP Magnaflow exhaust just in case my tastes change in the future.

Junkyard has full catbacks, typically they hack it off just on either side of the cat. there should be at least 2 there if not like 15 (aurora U-Pull it) I should really start buying these up and selling them off to people that hate aftermarket exhaust.

Yeah, there were so many burn victims when I was out there a few weeks ago. Is that something they'll keep inside? Or is there an exhaust pile somewhere?

Hmmmmmm. Insteresting.

FYI, the stock GMPP exhaust had a 2.25 inlet that mated to the downpipe, but 2.5 everywhere else. I had Exhaust Works in Naperville weld in a 2.5 pipe, replacing the 2.25, so it's a full 2.5-inch catback. Exhaust still has the GMPP resonator, mufflers and tips.

Only issue is mine would need to be welded/fabricated to work on your car. Its welded to the cat and TOG downpipe. Its a 3 inch to the stock Y with stock mufflers and magnaflow tips. I think my car is at the level where I might benefit from a actual catback exhaust. from what I remember yours was pretty quiet.

It's pretty loud now. I think I blew out the cat, though, after last winter misfiring and running rich.

most exhaust at the junkyard should still be hanging under the car... the cats are always going to be gone though.

I think I need another setup myself... it blew something out somewhere. Its not as loud as an open downpipe but its certainly not all sealed up right now either...
