just finishing up my 2 weeks at the cheetah place i'm at in south africa, where i also did zero work outs other than walking around. some field work but nothing too major, even moving rocks they weren't that heavy. did some pull ups the second week on one of the buildings though, got up to 15. the roof was in the way a bit though so not the strictest of them. previously i think my max straight was 8 and figured i could do 10 now but haven't for some time as my right elbow/arm felt a little tweaked. we'll see what i can get on an actual pull up bar now though, i definitely don't think it is 15, but will be happy for 10+.

Hm. No.. Shit.
Thatā€™s kind of fake news, it completely depends on the person most peoples cholesterol levels in there blood are unaffected by dietary cholesterol, when I have done keto in the past I had blood work done before during and after and my cholesterol levels dropped dramatically while on keto

You probably keto'd correctly and proportionately. I'd bet over 70% don't and eat super high fatty greasy meats

FirstWorldProblems N20GT i know Iā€™ve asked before, what weighted vest are you using?

Thinking I need to add one to my gym
I don't use a weighted vest actually, just turn the incline up lol. It's getting to the point that I could use a vest on a regular 15% max incline treadmill though, just to get the workout done faster. I notice a big difference between even 15% and 18% incline.

Max mine out at 15% and itā€™s not too brutal unless itā€™s 95* in the garage. A little more pain in cool weather would be nice

Trying to get in some more conditioning by multitasking. I want to wake up 15min earlier and Iā€™ll be able to take doggo for a 30-40min walk every morning.

First piece of home equipment purchased. Found it used, 2.5 years old for $1200 (vs $3500 new)ā€¦.5 mins from my house. I've been scouring fbmp for one of these for months, so to find a new (not discontinued) model in mint condition right by me....fucking awesome.

Will be moved to my house on Wednesday

Chest and biceps today, kept it light 225lbs on the incline bench.

I know I have said this before, but I'm serious this time. Me going HAM and benching 400+lbs, 225lb shoulder presses, and any other heavy shit are officially done. Its just too damn taxing on my body at 47yrs old, 275-315 on bench will be my limits from here on out and not even sure I want to hit 315 that often. Shoulder presses I'm going to stay at 155ish. Had a good conversation this morning with a few guys my age that like me always went super heavy. They have all stopped doing it within the last year and now look to hit more reps at a lighter weight and they said they feel fucking phenomenal.

Anyone have a power tower at home? If so what brand and do you like it? These things run the gamut on pricing, and it has no moving parts so I don't think it's worth buying a crazy $800 one when amazon has them for like $200, but I don't want something flimsy either

I'm legit not familiar with weightlifting equipment brands at all. I know rogue fitness is supposed to be solid but they don't have a basic power tower

This is what i'm looking for, not a power rack
