So I bought a couple Fisker Karmas sight unseen wayyyyyyy back in November and had them shipped to San Francisco. Both cars were basket cases and I lost my ass on the deal.
4 months and $14,000 later, I have a running car with a check engine light, traction control light, a broken climate control system and some aesthetic “hiccups”.
But it runs and drives. What more can you ask for?! You might ask what $14,000 gets you in terms of service for a 10 year old Fisker. Well, two battery modules, a new infotainment computer, engine oil change, control arms, tie rod ends, a PRNDL switch, a door switch, accelerator potentiometer, programming to bring the car back to life and a bunch of other small stuff I’m sure I’m missing.
The car has good bones but needs some help aesthetically. The good news is the paint is great and the aesthetics are all pretty easily sorted. We’ll cover that in this thread.
If you like what you see, the car will be available for $25,000 after it’s all cleaned up and sorted.
Needs a sanding and vinyl wrap here. They all fade like this but a vinyl wrap takes just a bit of time to install and will have it looking like new.
I LOVE this interior. The base cars got real leather everywhere and they smell great but like every other “leather everywhere” car, the leather shrinks and pulls up off the panels and is impossible to fix.
This is the EcoChic package and its alcantera everywhere. Up the dash, sides of the console, roof, everywhere. Mine is dirty but it’s still stunning. I just feel like this interior has aged so well. What do you think?
