Sloppy Amazon Ideas list

I flat out love these 150amp bus bars for installing powerful equipment and running multiple hot leads easily, i usually end up running a short leg of the battery to one post and out to the starter with the other, also usually running the alternator right to one of the posts

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0091VHLW4?refRID=XZVAVJ9KMAQ9JA7XKBGN&ref_=pd_ys_c_rfy_rp_all_2

these are awesome for isolating links and or splitting large power connections or making connection charging points for large battery wires etc

another one i use all the time with the buss bar is a 5 pack of five wire relays and sockets

Love these terminals

I really like these except for the form factor can be a little tall once you use their holder and waterproof lid. Make sure to put some foam in that lid and put it on tight if you are tracking the car as it will help keep relays from bouncing out from vibration.

I switched to using this line

They have a lot of different options. Key note is they use the same cavity seals as the bussman units but require the "tanged" terminals.

I also like them because I can use these smaller relays when I don't need 35amp so I can fit more in a smaller footprint.

Great thread. I've used a bunch of those electrical parts in my car. Picked up a few weather pack kits to be able to remove some panels/accessories as well when I need the room to work behind the dash.

if you are connecting a lot of 18-22ga wires for ecu injectors and more, you need non insulated crimps and shrink its BARELY larger than the wire and almost invisible
these and the crimper will change your life.

next two are double crimpy bois,
they crimp the connector and the wire strain relief or the insluator grommet etc all at once.

this is for the smaller Tyco, holley, dtm connectors that are open end, also including wideband, tps, iac etc

this is for metripack 150, alternator plug, most gm things like coil pack connectors and whatnot

Your Amazon lists don’t work anymore on the wiki fyi. Was trying to find those pass thru wiring lug things and saw the links were dead

Posting images that let you do image lookups take you to subsequent ads reusing those pics.

Crimp supply n others have off Amazon stores etc.

Much easier to get bags of terminal refills for all my metripack/GT stuff

I love the instant fb posts in your groups but any sort of search is soooo pointless because it’s so bad. This place is so much easier and has a wealth of knowledge in the database.

these battery crimpers work, also these style cutters you can get larger for more leverage but these work.

the cutters are also good for cutting fuel line cleanly

the crimpers wont crimp perfect hexagons imo i always just smash the crimps and they look fine with heat shrink over them

yeah thats why putting it here rocks, only way to make it perfect is for me to consolidate to front page
Like Mike said, we’re willing to put whatever info you want up and host it. Is there anything you’d like to change as far as this section goes? We had a good wave come in when we first started sloppy things up in here and I’d love for us to have all the info available in a forum format vs fb.

i wanted to try a set of those, i have these red bois and they are 110% amazing
These are my most used ones honestly. A friend got me a pair of knipex last year and they feel dainty and I’m scared to fuck them up.

My 5 pack of the ones above, I’m down to 3 left which is pretty good, I’ve had them for years now.

I’ve got a set of ratcheting crimpers and I just end up grabbing the plier style every time. Are these rotary ones that good? denmah denmah
