Oak Lawn. Last Jan or Feb (when that above pic is from), we got right around 12" in a single snowfall. And I think we had gotten another 6-8" either just before or just after that one.
In this pic, it was the winter of 20-21 where we had a few week stretch of a bunch of sizeable snowfalls. I was running out of places to put the snow. The snow in my front yard was probably 24-30" deep, and the places I was stacking snow with the blower was more like 5' or more.:

. Driveway is long and was afraid a single wouldn’t be enough. Now I wish I had both as this thing is a bit of a cumbersome pain in the ass and my wife is afraid of it.This was in February. That snow was around for probably the whole month before it got warm enough to do any real melting.

Funny enough I think that giant storm in 2011 was the last time I used a snowblower.
I will say that shoveling in the winter of 2013-2014 sucked. When you're at the end of the driveway and it's just 3' deep of giant blocks of ice from the plow truck and you have to throw it practically mailbox height because you've had so much snow built up along the sides...that's the shit I don't like.
There was another winter where the sides of my driveway were built up like 3-4' tall but I can't remember when it was. Maybe 2017?

I offered $500 on the $600 craftsman in cedar lake. If she says no i'm just gonna gamble with my shovel, and then when we get a 12" snowstorm i'll just shovel until I collapse and whatever happens happens
