New drag setup I'm looking at picking up are 27 inches tall. My stock tires are 25.7 tall.

So is this going to be an issue or no?

BTW, these are them:

are those Diamond Star's?
If so, save em for the IRS guys!

Why get a 16 in. wheel if you dont need to? Seems like 15 would be the way to go.

A taller tire would be like stepping down in your gear ratio. If you are having traction issues off of the line, then yes it would help.

Yes. And I think the longer gearing will help build boost in the lower rpms....

Turbos love to be loaded. Being that a taller tire effectively increases the amount of work your engine has to do to turn them, the turbo will be moar happy.

*edit* Glad you did it.

IMO, you should put them on your car, find somewhere you can dick around practicing before you take them to the track. Just sayin, but seriously i'm sayin, just sayin :dunno:

You wont need to practice shit. Those tires will just HOOK and go. Don't burn them up on the street.
