The Eagle came with a mirror it is clearly wrong as it doesnt fit. I dont care what mirror I get because i am pretty sure replacing this windshield if I crack it will be a huge headache.

Attached files for reference some are surely redundant. RareGMFan RareGMFan

That looks like a standard sized windshield wedge mount. Don't have one of those calipers to measure one of mine to be certain of that, but it would be hard to imagine there's much variation.

Can you snap pics of the mirror (front and back)? From what I can see of the design/shape of the mounting area in your measurement pic, it looks like a Donnelly mirror from the '90s/early '00s. I have had a few of those in the past (may still have a couple) and do remember those having a slightly smaller mounting area for some reason.

Mmkay, so I borrowed my brother in law's digital caliper, and here are the findings.

I have a bunch of windshield wedges I kept for people looking to do a resto mod project on an older/classic car. This is pretty much the standard wedge you'd find on the vast majority of cars from roughly the late 70s on up. Case in point, the Fiero guys love upgrading to these mirrors and they fit directly on their factory mirror wedges.

It looks like it's coming out to a 100th or so smaller than the one in your car, but pretty damn close. They have a ridge on the side facing the inside of the car which is a tad wider then the rest of the wedge. That ridge slides into a grove on the mounting area of the mirror. That grove is a hair wider than your wedge, so I think it should fit fine. But it's still best to find a 'normal' mirror out of another more modern car and try it on the Eagle to make sure it fits. You'll also notice that even on the right pairing of mirror to wedge mount, the wedge doesn't go all the way up to the top of the mirror mount (there's a small gap at the top). This is not an issue as it's still on there snugly, and once you tighten the torx screw, it's not budging. Pics are below for everything I mentioned.

Mmkay, so options for you at $50 and under. All of these will only require 2 wires (+12V source that comes on with ignition or accessories and a ground). If interested in any of them, let me know here or you can drop me a PM if you prefer.

Old school 1st gen auto dimming mirror. These were options from the beginning to late '90s. Thought I had versions of these with compass, but apparently I don't anymore. Cool thing with these first gens is the switch underneath that allows you to control how much the mirror dims. Just looking to get rid of these at this point, so I'd do this one for $20+ shipping.

This is the next generation that started in the late '90s. Would do $35 for auto dim only and $50 with compass + shipping.
