I hate how big and gaudy the iPass is and hate it mounted on the windshield. I always forget it when it’s in the door or center console, and hate when it flies off of the dash mid drive.

I mounted one on the highlander right behind the rear view. I forget it's there.

I stuck mine on my daily driver, right behind the rear view mirror on the windshield

I love flying 70+ mph through the ipass lanes.

Behind the mirror? :dunno:

That’s what I’ve always done and it’s out of my line of sight.

Just did some internet searching and I’m not crazy! Looks like people paint them so they blend in.......flat black it is!

Thats what we do at my house. Paint it black and put it by the mirror. Blends in way better.

assuming you have the newer 1.5" vs like the big 4" they used to use? I have combo of both and also refused to mount them

Plasti dip the back of the iPass and stick it behind the rear view mirror on the passenger side.

I have seen people use black permanent marker and paint. Works well enough. I like the mounting to the mirror idea as well.

They make a fat tip sharpie. Works great. The lines blend together, so it doesn't look like a two-year-old scribbled on it.

I got some nice satin black interior paint I’m gonna use on this fucking thing and then mount it behind the rear view.

This is what car modding has become for me

One thing I am salty about is the dealer had a license plate frame on the car before I purchased it which wasn't a huge deal. I purchased these color matched plugs for the bumper. I pull the plate off and there is another pair of holes behind the plate that a blind man must have lined up :picard: I will need to have the front bumper addressed at some point. Otherwise the car is AWESOME! The creature comforts are sick and the sound system in the car is done right.
front plate holes ? #dun

I just don’t see why this thing can’t be a 1.5” round disc maybe half an inch tall. It’s like the size of a bar of soap.

They used to be twice that size and some were bright yellow.

That was just the sun causing them to yellow like that.
