Planning a Tail of the Dragon tour on Mother’s Day weekend is pretty much what killed it last year, right?

driving 14 hours in one day is what killed it. tail is not a good tour destination.

I thought Teege24 was planning a trip to LOTO. I put the brakes on the planning I was doing on the side for The Dragon.

I also don't think the drive is ideal. It would be one thing if we were all rich like some of the "Rally Groups" that just ship cars to cruising destinations but we are not. I for one wouldn't have an issue with a 14 hour drive to the Smokys or the Black Hills but it does take up a decent amount of time.
