I have been getting yelled at for years by my sister that shopping at jewel is pricey. But when I go to other places I don't see much, if any of a difference. I usually just shop for the same things, and only get what meat is on sale. I'll stop up every now and again on stuff if it's a good deal. But with it just being me and having to share a fridge with my house mate I cant really go overboard. I also like the fact that its a quarter mile down the road and I know where everything is so I am in and out in no time.

Where do you guys shop?

Aldi for the bulk shopping. Then wherever else is close/more convenient for the little here and there things.

I'd do Costco if I had a wife and kids. No need to stockpile really

Jewel, Super Low in Wood Dale has great deals on chicken.
If I want delicious steak, Mikes Meat Market in Lombard.
Supreme Lobster for fish.

If we want to load up two carts and save You can't beat Woodmans. Carpentersville is a hike though.

And, Walmart.

Jewel sucks, how do you shop there? We have a brand new one and everytime I go they are out of at least one thing I need.

We shop at Ultra, Aldi, Mariano's and Costco.

Seriously I will either go to Jewel or Meijer because that is what is closest. I love Woodman's though, wish I lived closer to one.
