How many stories did I hear of Mommy/Daddy paying for their tickets as B-day/first period/or any other basic life accomplishment type of gift, on radio/tv interviews.
we got our 13 yrs olds the tickets for xmas. Not for any big life accomplishment, other than they were huge Taylor Swift fans, had never been to a real concert every and TS hasn't toured in a few years, so it was the perfect confluence of the 3 things.

Nothing wrong with buying kids tickets to see her for any occasion.

Only issue i have is people paying $2-3000 to watch a 33 year old sing whos already worth 400 million dollars... That's crazy.

So we can’t buy our kids a decent gift for Xmas? Let me guess, all you got was coal and toilet paper as gifts when you were a kid?
Now THAT'S a gift! :ROFLMAO:

Shift that audience demographic about 10 years older at least.
I guess that makes sense. She's been around since like 2006. Fans that were her age then have grown up with her. Looked up and saw this. Was interesting.

"Some 45% of avid fans are millennials, people between the ages of 27 and 42, while 23% are baby boomers, 21% are Gen Xers and just 11% are members of Gen Z—those 26 and under. A slim majority, 55%, of avid Swift fans are Democrats, compared to 23% who are politically independent and 23% who are Republicans."

The Article has other stats. I just copied and pasted the above quote as that was what Google replied.

What’s an appropriate gift then, in your eyes?
Huh? Where did you come up with this analogy?

I said most probably got it as a gift from their parents like a b-day gift (I honestly forgot Christmas) as many of the radio interviews as well as on channel 5, channel 7 and WGN TV news stories of the concert all interviewed young teenage/20 something females saying exactly that!

I added the first period comment in jest because even as you noted, you were out of your element as many are/were teenage females...

Good GAWD!
