My old TA was the fastest car I've ever been in. Coincidentally I was the only one that was willing to drive that car as my brother in law felt overwhelmed. Before that the fastest car I was in was as a passenger in my buddies stock C6z06.
When I had my first kid, I sold my 10 second CTS-V sedan. I was truly impressed with that car. They I saw the internet rumbling about the absolutely retarded notion of putting a 700+ factory HP motor in a couple cheap dodge cars. I fell in love and made it a goal to "get there" one day. Had to wait a little bit, but I have not been disappointed yet. The fact that they take mods so well is crazy. Let's just hope the HP wars keep going and no one pussies out.
I don't like being a passenger and I don't like driving cars I don't own (unless it's a rental), so I haven't been in many fast cars. My '90 Mustang is probably the fastest thing I've been in. Runs 11.0 in the 1/4 with ~430 rwhp.
its interesting when being a passenger...the driver is concentrating on driving/shifting....passenger just shits pants...drove a NASCAR at 160mph...but the acceleration of a 10 sec street machine is crazy
the computer system launch control on the vet was impressive
