Pork chops. Specifically my mother in laws pork chop recipe which is AMAZING!!! Means even more when you realize that I don’t eat pig other than bacon and ham (only on the “ham holidays”). My wife cooked them perfectly and my “Alright I’ll try some then order a pizza” turned into me devouring two of them.

So no pictures but I picked up Arrachera from Costco and it was the best damn skirt steak I have ever had. I finished it off yesterday with carne asada nachos.

Meh, have had it a few times, it’s hit or miss.

I made some stuffed clamshrooms tonight. Basically stuffed mushrooms with some left over clams I had in the fridge. Tasty. Clams get a bit lost in the mix but they are still noticeable.

Dog loved the stuffing but turned his nose up at eating a mushroom.

Dinner and entertainment.

I braised some short ribs in wine with carrots and shallots and made a veggie dip for the celery. Short ribs rock.

I probably need to read the book 10 times to pick up the heavy math info. Might as well get started.

One of my friend's sisters, Lilu, was in town and I wanted to do her right so I made scallops in a bacon cream sauce.

Amy grilled green beans and I made homemade rolls in the bread machine. Lilu was impressed. She made me some kind of grapefruit drink that was mostly alcohol in return. After a few sips, the drink was good. 2nd one was even better.

These are the extras. They disappeared quickly. Scallops are awesome in a mild sauce like this.

Amy made an angel food cake and we served that with strawberries and whipped cream for dessert.

EDIT: My buddy just dropped off a box of Helix cigars for me. He appreciated me taking care of his wife's sister.
