Place was called Sushi Tsuki. They have an all you can eat for $28.

Generous sized Nigiri, these weren't silvers of fish on top of rice, the fish was large enough to completely cover and hang over the rice. Fresh, so good.

The rolls, OMG, the roles were huge, great selection.

They also have the usual appetizer plates like Gyoza, and Shumai. They also had Takoyaki, an epic Seaweed Salad, Sashimi salad, squid salad, and on and on.

AND, Desert is ALSO on the AYCE menu, so you can get ice cream or Mochi too!

Will consume again.

Oh, man. You got me at seaweed salad. I love that stuff. I could legit eat an entire bowl of it as a meal.

Yeah it was my first time eating it. Was supposed to be shared with the table. Everyone took one bite and decided to save thier appetite for their mains. I ate that whole damn bowl AND all my stuff. Was a rough 3.5 hr drive home, the food coma was intense.

Made meatloaf with wifey tonight.
1# 80/20
1# Italian Sausage
1/2-3/4 cup bacon
2 eggs
3/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs

Medium yellow onion
4 cloves garlic
5-6 mini Anaheim peppers
Sauteed all this shit together

Mix it all together, season with a little thyme and top with parsley.
Sorry didn't get any pics...meatloaf...

Threw that shit in oven at 350 for a while.

I'll pull it halfway and season with some shallots and a little salt and pepper.

Then I sliced up 5-6 red potatoes good and thin, rinse well, dry and put them on a cookie sheet lined with some parchment paper.
A big fuck you to the slicer, mf got me.

Give a healthy dose of avocado oil, salt and some Penzey's Sunny Paris seasoning.

They'll go in once the loaf is about 1/2 way there.

I sliced off about the first 1/4 of my finger tip with one of those slicers a few years back. Those things are dangerous.
Yeah they are.
My wife got her thumb right after we got together way back when.

I was being a dumbass when I did it - I set a bunch of the slicings back on it while rinsing them then went to grab them and did t pay attention.

If there is a safer way to get thin sliced veggies I'm all ears.

Threw together some brown gravy. Easy AF to make and is legit.

1 red onion slice/dice
Big dollop of butter
Tbsp of olive oil
Put in pan and cook till onion caramelized, stirring frequently - 10-15 min.

Add 3 tbsp of flour to coat onion and stir for a couple mins
Add 1/2 cup of red wine, stir some more
Add 1-1/2 cup beef broth
Boil, stirring for a few minutes then pull from heat and let cool

Meatloaf came out fire.

Potatoes I put too much avocado oil on but otherwise they're legit.

Ready for a nap now.
