Changed out the cabin filter in the bmw. Methinks it was due.

Wasn't difficult, but ze germans definitely dont make it easy. 2 10mm bolts, tear off the underside panel, disconnect the footwell light, 2 t15 torx screws on the filter housing, a couple clips to open the lid, then and only then do you have access to your filter.

Also did make me a little nervous working down there with my face 2 inches away from the knee airbag tho. Especially when I had to pound on that panel a little to get the clips to snap back in when I put it back together :rofl:

FINALLY!!! After screwing up and ordering the wrong wiring because the website was wrong I got a few hours to get the new HU in. More bells and whistles to figure out but the sound is a lot clearer and the maps aren’t from 2012. iPhone interface is awesome and it scared the shit out of me because the factory setting for guidance volume was at 100%.
