I picked up a used Gen2 coyote for a coyote swap in the car, and I wanted to take some time to clean the engine and components while they are out of the car.
theres some dirt and grease to remove and also some oxidation on the aluminum, just seeing what any of you would recommend to clean these items up. I’m not trying to polish it or anything crazy, just clean them up so they look nice before the engine goes into the car.
You can see some of the oxidation on the back of the heads, stuff like that I wanted to get cleaned up.
Ive read the worst thing is to paint the aluminum so that is out, just hoping to clean it up as much as possible.
