For a while I was getting angry that Laguna Seca's corkscrew hadn't been mentioned. But he mentioned it, so it was okay.
I do agree though, I love watching footage on tracks that have elevation changes.
I also approve the Gandolf quote. The 'Ring is basically carved from a mountain so a ton of its twists and turns are because the mountain mead they had to go around instead of over. I think cutting through the natural terrain is why some tracks are just plain great.
There is a reason we love twisty mountain roads.
