Results came in for last years GM technician awards, Mark of excellence. I won every award possible and placed 17th in the zone so I get to go to a banquet. Pretty pumped up. This also qualifies me for higher bonus money this year, so I get an extra $625 per quarter which isn’t too shabby as far as free money goes
We did that in December and it has been a nightmare since. Yesterday was the 25th time he has gone in the house. I left for 7 minutes to drop the kids off at school. He was out for ten minutes right before I left. He has eaten 3 cage liners and somehow managed to dent the metal one. He got out and jumped off a 25 foot wall before making his way toward the Ford plant. He ate a case of Samoa girl scout cookies that were on the island. He has gotten into the garbage (this I get). He has eaten 3 beds and there isn't a stuffed animal anywhere that my kids have that he won't try and get. He has completely gouged up the island with his cage because he goes nuts in there sometimes.
My dog is an asshole. I hope you have better luck. I hate this mf-er.

Found this absolutely mint Escort wagon on the way to my storage unit. Had to turn around to get a picture. Was absolutely showroom fresh except for the dent in the fender and it looks like the drivers rear window trim is fluffing up with some rust on the run channel. Both are easy fixes.
My mom had one of those, but in silver and was really happy with it. Drove it till it rusted apart.
She went for a 2005 VW Passat wagon, which is, you guessed it, rusting away as well.
Really hard to find a small 5-door wagon with a low loading height, and one where the transition from the top of the bumper is level with the rear floor. Meaning it doesn't drop down. She needs to be able to slide things directly out, without lifting them up. I don't know if there are any small wagons on the market today that are like that.
Just imagine somebody buying that thing almost 30 years ago and keeping it in this condition. That is so impressive.
