Radar detectors Talk about false sense of security, I didn't think people even used those things anymore.
mine saves me at least 1-3 times per week, a shit ton on road trips too. fucking love the thing.
if you understand how/when radar is used and how/when laser is used, a decent radar detector, along with either google maps pointing out where cops may be (or wayze) or even escort's phone app, it's pretty awesome.
Agreed. A big thing is not being complacent too. A lot of false readings are indeed false, from say vehicles with Lane departure and the like systems, but not always, and if I’m abusing the speed limit that is when I’m at my most alert for unexpected surprises.
