So does the car not stop, not steer, or not start? :)

Car starts, stops, steers, and runs fine.

I found it wedged near the trans pan. I hope its not trans related from the trans work done a month ago.

Heh, I'm in Chicago right now - in the street parking lot - waiting - and connected to someones wireless network . WiFi is awesome . To top that off, Im using a PDA! Too geeky! LOL.

looks like the tube that runs between the power steering rack boots, check to see if there are 2 holes 1 on each side of the rack by the boots.

I've looked and looked, but cannot find where it could go. And I've gone over the Helms manual and I cannot match the picture.

Ok, a little logic. If its power steering, brake, or fuel line, I would have exibited a problem, right? Car runs great. It's not leaking anything. I will solve this mystery. <goes in the garage>

I bet its not from your car. Maybe the shop used it to prop something, or hold something out of the way...and just sort of forgot it was there. But it definitely looks like a fluid line....so if your not leaking fuel, brake or powersteering fluid then dont worry about it. :D
