Finally got my MGW installed. Don't know why I waited so long. This thing feels like a different car and I thought the stock shifter wasn't even bad.

I've been working on another wood project for the wife. She wants to make a crate with polls on each end (and one going from one to the other to hang clothes). It's for a baby shower and I'm making it a nautical themed crate. I'll upload pics when I'm done. Currently need to paint a little bit more and do the details.

After that is done, I'll continue doing the benches for the table I made months back.

Came home from work at 11 yesterday, 10min after walking in the door my downstairs furnace blower motor died. Im glad I was home early, the supply house was still open. I ended up snapping the set screw on the blower wheel as well, luckily they had everything stocked.
You lucky that you could get the parts so quickly. I’m just waiting for mine to die as it’s been vibrating for a year or so.

How many curse words when you snapped the set screw?
I wasn’t too upset. It’s good practice to replace the wheel with the motor at the same time anyways. Furnace is from 1989, in great shape and still running. It doesn’t owe me anything, but I’d rather not have spent the money

I’ve had the wall opened up in my master for almost three months from running conduit for the solar panel install I did.

FINALLY got the insulation stuffed back in and hung a sheet of drywall yesterday.

There’s a bunch in the garage to do as well, but who the fuck knows when I’ll get around to that

Spent way too long fiddling with sketchup today. Designing a pergola that the wife is going to hate as soon as I show it to her. We have a balcony off of our master bedroom I want to make more usable without getting roasted by sun and adding some style to our otherwise plain looking house.
