Putting a new hydraulic cylinder on my ancient log splitter. Blew a seal last time it was used and new cylinders can be had cheaper than a rebuild at this point.

Fire pit she wants is dug in the ground to where your sitting like should height to the ground...

I'm like our water table is so low it would constantly flood...

At least mine wants to put it in an area that’s already gravel in the middle of the yard from the last owners kids play set. No ground work needed, just some pavers

I'm working on our Netbackup infrastructure. I've gotta say that the fact it's so fucking hard to delete data out of this goddamn thing is fucking usery. I mean it's fucking nuts that I have to go on the CLI and dick with this to purge it. My boss was pushing back on doing a refresh and although it's going to be a son of a bitch I'm starting to become more appreciative of it quite frankly.

Oil filter housing gasket on a 3900, last guy replaced the entire oil pan and pump trying to fix the leak over a 10 dollar gasket. Put the damn thing back together after replacing some missing bolts went to drive it and then the sender was shit.

I feel a little less sketchy everyday 🙄

2005 LLY 256k miles.

Customer called, said a shop quoted him $3500 to change his high pressure pump.

We said well if it is that we charge $1800, but we will NOT change the part unless we diagnose it.

Within 30 mins I find low rail pressure, about 9000psi out of 24000.

Another 15 mins and I have a confirmed failure of the pressure relief valve. It's relieving too early causing rail psi drop.

Install new valve. All fixed.

Now I'm just changing the regulator cause it had a slight surge at idle.

Pump is good. 24k psi all day long.

Hell be outta here for less than $1200.

I did find a wasted turbo so maybe that at a later date.
