Good you went to polys. The Anchors I stuck in the Astro were shit and totally not worth it.
Was a bit worried they’d somehow shake more but I think the fully collapsed old ones laying on the frame was way worse. I actually think it’s smooth now. I read some horror stories of rubber ones failing nearly instantly because of the weight of the Detroit.

Smoked a VFD on a 300hp pump. Warranty issue, I dug into it enough to diagnose the drive was shorted on one of the output phases. Leaving it at that.

also found some dead heat trace tape after discovering I froze an 18” pipe.... I went to rotate to a different set of cooling towers I wanted to de-ice and it knocked a chiller out on flow. MF’r froze solid=no flow.

So we recently bought a ‘17 Pacifica. The headlights are HORRIBLE. I popped in some 65watt halogens, and light output was same but yellower. Scratching my head why, said screw it and got some 55w hids. Blinky McBlinksalot.

Turns out the headlights are PWM controlled...WTF. No matter what bulb you buy was going to be same output.

I bought a few eBay harnesses for $12, and some Amazon $15 capacitors...made my own custom harness. The Morimoto harness for this van is $180...never paying that.

Happy with the outcome, made a bracket for quick access to the relays. Headlights rock now

Going to lend a laptop to a neighbor that is going in for hip surgery so I'm trying to P2V my drive that's in it now because I need a Win7 VM for my CAD software that's obsolete AF and she needs windows 10 to work. I wanted to do this anyways so I could use my main Linux Desktop to CAD from. As of now I'm taking a backup in Windows and am installing a fresh VM. Before I was trying to make a raw copy of the HDD's partitions to a file and seeing if I could just add that to a VM. It seemed like it worked up to the point I wanted to put a boot loader into it and actually boot the fucking thing.

VMware Converter makes this so fucking easy, shame I don't have it lol.

Also, did a shitton of cabling today for a new UCS Domain and was on a call for performance issues. It appears we're beating the shit out of our filer with one single NAS share that's kind of a rats nest pot luck of shit. I mean that thing really needs to get split up and a lot of the workload moved to block storage. Either that or we need to toss money at it. I wouldn't be surprised if we would do that except that the migration may be a pain in the dick to what we have now. Then again if we actually go out and cut a check..........
