There was no not taking the top off to clean the chunks out of it but it runs just fine again now.

Helped a friend change oil on a Gallardo this afternoon and you guys are absolutely correct about multiple drain plugs and bein crazy to work on. You could really screw one of those up if you didn't do your homework to know how to fill the dry sump system on it or the procedure to even check the oil on it to begin with. Definitely learned some new things today.

Yep, thatā€™s why Iā€™ll be changing my ol ladies shortly, fuck that.
I think the fleet I've been doing work for has like 20 more of that style terrain so I'm guessing I'm gonna get pretty good at pulling chunks out of them. Preventative is probably a real good idea, this pump gave no warning and locked up hard enough I probably shouldve replaced the cam that drives it too but we're gonna see how this one goes and if we get away with not

I just did these injectors in April.

Customer states he had filters changed at a shop then truck was smoking bad.

I got it hydrolocked, figured out what cylinder, pulled injector.

Not only are theyh complete crap box store filters but I'm betting the person doesn't know how to cycle these after filters and pushed aton of air into the system which caused this.

Got my ass kicked by a weird electrical problem on a volt today. Reverse camera didnā€™t work. Checked wiring at camera and found out it didnā€™t have a turn on signal from the reverse lamps. Reverse lamps didnā€™t work either. Found the fuse open for reverse lamps. It blows immediately when a new one is installed. Ripped the fucking car apart trying to find a short to ground on that circuit. No dice. Found out thereā€™s an internal sharing of the power from that circuit to the map lights/vanity mirrors inside the BCM that isnā€™t shown on the schematics for the reverse lights and camera. Found the drivers vanity mirror had an internal short with absolutely no signs from the wiring harness. Unplugged the mirror, popped a new fuse in and everything works. Just goes to show you, good schematics are important

Ahh... When you print out 7 sheets of paper and scotch tape then together with 3 different color highlighters and go to town

Wasn't too far off from that over here. Had an Acadia in this morning with a bunch of codes that led back to the wiring harness rubbing on a support under the battery box. Nipped the power wire going to the fans and the whole thing threw a fit and would barely drive. Thankfully it was a fairly simple fix and didn't involve getting that far into it
