Heh, told wife Iā€™m going to make a Jew offer tomorrow and if he takes it, Iā€™d be into the car for less than half of the actual value when itā€™s done. ā€œSo then youā€™re going to sell it, right?ā€ ā€¦ā€¦riiiigggghhhhtttt šŸ˜‚

So I haven't looked too deep but do they all use the same kinda compressor? Because the "forever backorder" one from gm showed up pretty quick and customer also has an OEM takeoff one now because we wanted to get somethin in case the gm one didn't show, just curious if I can possibly toss it on one of the terrains or acadias if they shit one, but I doubt im that lucky to save them a lil headache down the road.

I don't believe it's the same one, especially considering this one's available.

Recently bought portable folding solar panels, two 100ah lifepo4 batteries, 2000watt power inverter, battery monitor and a 30 amp 120v automatic power transfer switch for our trailer. Got rid of the two 6 volt deep cycle batteries ran in series for the Lifepo4ā€™s. Relocated the new lithium batteries inside since they do not have to be vented. The new set up now will allow us to more easily and efficiently take our camper off grid and use our power inverter generators a lot less. The automatic power transfer switch is pretty slick. It automatically switches between shore power and the power inverter. It was a pain in the ass running new wires, cables etc and such throughout the trailer. Itā€™s not like you can just bust open a wall like in our house. So far everything is working way better than I had expected. Freaking love the new set up. Next year Iā€™ll add more solar onto the roof. There is already one 100watt panel. Iā€™d like to add three or four more of those.

ā€œAutozone says I need a cam sensorā€

Note the spring popping out that holds the tensioner lock in place. This thing was moments away from disaster.

I have essentially a hoodrat version of this without the monitor setup as a backup to run our chest freezer off of it shit ever hits the fan. Solid investment.

Guy put 2 new compressors on without changing the orifice, dryer, or flushing anything. Worst part is heā€™s a home hvac guy
I mean really what kinda mileage are we talking here and was it the compressor that burned up or just the clutch on it? I'm all for checking them but if they're clean and low miles and.the clutch just died on the thing send that shit
